It is planned for the two games to share assets with Natsume-Atari focusing on Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising so as not to sap resources from the development of Eiyuden Chronicle itself. This companion title is intended to be released before Eiyuden Chronicle itself. On August 29, 2020, close to the end of the initial Kickstarter campaign, Rabbit & Bear Studios announced their intention to partner with Natsume-Atari to create an Town Creation RPG. What lies in these ruins will fuel a conspiracy that will shake the world, and tie into the main story of Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. The story focuses around three playable characters, the beastman Garoo, the scavenger CJ, and the acting mayor Isha.Īlso, a secret within the ruins is deeply related to the fate of one of the characters. Conflict between those who wish to explore the ruins, the residents, those who don't want the ruins explored, and the character's motivations drive the story forward. Rising's story centers around the heroes' treasure hunting while aiding in reconstructing a suffering settlement (the town of New Nevaeh) damaged by earthquakes. There are also bonuses for players that link the game with Eiyuden Chronicles: Hundred Heroes, namely the transferring of crafting items from one title to the other. The game introduces a portion of Eiyuden Chronicle’s cast of characters in an original story with action and town-building elements. Set in the same world as Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, it weaves together the pre-war tales of various characters who will eventually become your companions in the main game. Releasing prior to the launch of Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising is a town creation action RPG developed by Rabbit & Bear Studios and Natsume-Atari allows the player to gather a variety of different materials to build up their town, farm, house, and more. Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising serves as a companion game to Eiyuden Chronicle.
